Tell me about your small business or startup.
My name is Ally and I am the founder of Starfire Vintage, which is a vintage clothing resale business, focused on personal styling. My customer is someone who cares about style, self- expression, and sustainability. With my styling and vintage-hunting expertise, I am able to give my customers back their time that they would spend hunting for clothes and find them special one-of-a-kind outfits.

Why did you decide to start your business or launch this product or service?
As a life-long fashion lover, and after discovering the importance of sustainability in 2020, I started vintage shopping to merge my love for fashion and sustainability. So, I began shopping at thrift stores and sharing my finds online. People started complimenting my outfits and asking me for thrifting advice and I wanted to share my passion and help them; therefore, I decided to start Starfire Vintage to help others become more confident in their own personal style.

What have you gotten out of this program?
The best part of this program has been the ability to get helpful feedback on my website, order forms and marketing tactics from both mentors and fellow founders.

What is your biggest accomplishment from this program?
My biggest accomplishment has been designing a full website that connects to my Instagram shop, because before BlueLaunch I had no idea how to create a website.
