Babur Ozden, CEO & Founder, Aquanta Vision Technologies, Houston, Texas, USA. Aquanta is a pre-seed stage computer vision climate tech software startup. Its patent pending invention, the NetxteN algorithm, automates the identification of methane in optical gas imaging without human intervention, and it is location or use case agnostic and universally compatible with all OGI camera make & models. Aquanta is in Chevron Studio, a program jointly operated by Chevron Technology Ventures and National Renewable Energy Laboratory of US Department of Energy. Prior to Aquanta, Babur co-founded Maana in 2012 and served as CEO until its acquisition in 2021. Maana investors included corporate venture arms of Aramco, Chevron, GE, Intel and Shell. Recognized as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, and a Digital Innovation Pioneer by CERAWeek, Babur has an EMBA degree from Rice University and BA in Computer Science from University of Texas at Austin.
