Tell me about your small business or startup.

My name is Emily, and I am the Founder and CEO of Paige & Demi - Organizational Experts, experiences and memories.

Why did you decide to start your business or launch this product or service?

I have always been a perfectionist and obsessed with organization, so I started doing free organization projects for friends and family for years. But, when the pandemic hit, I was working full-time for Rice University and taking care of two young girls. After 6 months, I thought if I can survive this, I can do anything I set my mind to and therefore, decided to turn my hobby into a business!

What is your biggest accomplishment from this program?

There are so many things you need to learn from experts to really find success as a small business owner and in this program I have gained connections, education, feedback, mentors, money, and friends!

I am a Rice University staff member, Mom to two girls: Quinn (6) & Gray (2), Marathoner/Triathlete, and a Former professional dancer for the Houston Rockets.
