Why did you decide to start your business or launch this product or service?

I came up with the idea in December 2019 after seeing a video of someone demonstrating the effect of water on fire. I thought it would look great on my patio and be fun to engineer, so I set off to my garage to start building. As I designed it, I realized its market potential for landscape architecture, so I founded Flumos!

What have you gotten out of this program?

BlueLaunch has taught me critical knowledge for growing my startup and connected me with an invaluable network of fellow founders and mentors. It allowed me to accomplish much more than I  otherwise would have this summer and gave me the confidence to build Flumos to its full potential.

What is your biggest accomplishment from this program?

My biggest accomplishment from this program was completing the first consumer-ready fire fountain. Feedback from my cohort and leadership teams was essential in building it and preparing it for marketing.
