CEO, Co-General Partner, HL Energy Ventures

Victor is the CEO and Co-General Partner of HL Energy Ventures, a venture fund started between him and Hunt Energy in 2024. Prior to starting HL Energy Ventures, Victor was President of Hunt Energy's technology venture capital business, where he served from 2006 - 2024. Victor was Chairman of Motive Drilling Technologies which was acquired by Helmerich and Payne, and serves on the Board of Directors of Cubic PV - a leading perovskite solar technology company, ACT - ion - an Advanced Cathode Technology for Lithium - ion battery company, and provided the first venture capital funding for new Power to Liquid companies that include Direct H2 - an integrated solar PV to Hydrogen venture birthed out of Rice University, MCatalysis - a microwave catalysis company based on technology from Oxford University, C6 - a Direct Air Capture to fuels and chemicals venture, and ElectroFueled - a co-electrolysis venture based on technology from EPFL University in Lausanne, Switzerland. Victor began his venture career at Texas Instruments as a product manager for its MEMs Digital Light Processing business, and then as a senior associate at Sevin Rosen Funds. He received his MBA at Harvard Business School, and studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at University College, Oxford and received his undergraduate in Economics at SMU.
