Rob Crane is a Chemical Engineer (BS Cornell, PhD Purdue) who moves new technologies from concept to commercialization. During his 28 years with ExxonMobil, he has led the advancement of high impact technologies through leadership roles in research, engineering, manufacturing, new business development, and strategy. His current focus is scaling technologies that reduce carbon intensity and greenhouse gas emissions. Current programs at ExxonMobil address applications such as biofuels, hydrogen, carbon capture, lithium extraction, new materials, advanced recycling of plastic waste, and other major process technologies.
