Lead, Venturing Strategy & Strategic Partnerships, Woodside Energy
Megan Lund currently serves as Lead, Venturing Strategy & Strategic Partnerships at Woodside Energy, where she leads the development of the company's emerging technology investment strategy, manages a portfolio of legacy venture investments, and maintains strategic partnerships across startups, investors, industry, and research organizations. She also serves as Partnership Director for the Woodside-Rice Decarbonization Accelerator (WRDA), helping move the partnership's sponsored research at Rice University from the lab into commercial opportunities and new ventures.
Since joining Woodside (formerly BHP) in 2012, Megan has worked across supply chain, operations, and corporate innovation. She is interested in emerging technologies, ventures, and bringing together people from different backgrounds to solve hard problems.
Based in Houston, Megan serves on the Industry Leadership Council for Greentown Labs, the Ion Leadership Advisory Roundtable, the Rice Alliance Roundtable Advisory Board, and the WRDA Oversight Committee. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Arizona State University and an MBA from Rice University.
