Mark Williamson

I have a history of applied technical business development and entrepreneurship, capital sourcing, and technical recruiting in the legacy energy industry while at Impact 20 Group. There, I developed a methodology to source, vet, and onboard qualified targets, a process that has served well as a predecessor to the methodology used at Ironwood Capital Partners in vetting of clean energy tech prospects.

Previously worked for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in corporate & operational in finance in Mexico City, Bethesda and Dallas. After receiving a mechanical engineering degree, became the Technical Manager of EMSCOR, a manufacturer of rack & pinion industrial elevators in Houston. Later, I directed a series of entrepreneurial ventures in Budapest, Hungary and Washington, DC, prior to accepting an executive role with the US public internet firm, Intermost Corporation in Shenzhen, China. Most recently, I successfully sourced & vetted a $15.5mm Series A biotech deal that closed May 2024 (press release pending), vetting hundreds of clean energy tech start-ups, as to their market potential. A dozen clean energy tech prospects are currently in diligence with our broad collection of investment fund partners.
