Joey Bernica is an Investment Director at Climate Investment where he focuses on growth equity stage investments in business that reduce greenhouse gas emissions from large industrial facilities and high-emitting sectors. Joey joined Climate Investment in 2021 and is a board member at JessCo Solutions, Trace Midstream, and Quail Run Carbon. Prior to Climate Investment, Joey spent over 10 years in the upstream oil & gas sector in commercial and asset management roles with ConocoPhillips, Murphy Oil, and TRP Energy. Joey is based in Houston and holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.B.A. from Rice University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
