Geoff Trukenbrod is the Chief Executive Officer of Sedron Technologies, where he leads the company’s mission to transform organic residuals into clean water, renewable energy and valuable organic agricultural resources through its patented Varcor® technology.
A seasoned executive who successfully scales organizations, Geoff brings more than 25 years of experience leading complex and purpose-driven organizations at the intersection of finance, operations, technology and sustainability. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Obama for America’s 2012 re-election campaign, overseeing a billion-dollar technology-enabled organization built at extraordinary speed and scale.
As Chief Financial Officer of LanzaTech, Geoff scaled an industrial decarbonization company from an emerging technology into a global enterprise. He guided the company through its transition to the public markets and supported the deployment technologies that convert waste gases into sustainable fuels.
Geoff joined Sedron as Chief Financial Officer in 2025 before being appointed CEO. Today, he is leading the company’s next stage of growth, advancing commercially viable solutions to some of the world’s most urgent environmental challenges including methane emissions, nutrient pollution, PFAS contamination and sustainable agriculture.
Under his leadership, Sedron secured a commitment of up to $500 million from Ara Partners, announced in April 2026, to accelerate project development and expand the manufacturing and deployment of Varcor systems across North America.
