Don Kendall
Founding Managing Director and CEO, Kenmont Capital
Donald R. Kendall, Jr. is a General Partner of New Climate Ventures and the founding Managing Director and CEO of Kenmont Capital, LP. He has led and managed distressed debt, credit, and private equity investments across the energy, power, infrastructure, and transportation sectors, including at Carlson Capital and Cogen Technologies Capital Company, where he oversaw acquisitions, financings, and the company’s $1.1 billion sale. Earlier in his career, he held senior project finance roles at Credit Suisse First Boston, Drexel Burnham, and Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Kendall serves on the board of Talos Energy and has held leadership roles on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards. He holds an A.B. from Hamilton College and an M.B.A. with high honors from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
