Christopher Spears is Managing Director of EIC Heritage at Energy Innovation Capital, an Upstream-focused venture fund backed by leading operators and service companies investing in emerging upstream technologies. He spent 12 years at BP, with experience spanning venture investing, corporate strategy, and engineering across Houston and London. Chris has also served on the boards of several energy and deep-tech startups, including Cold Bore Technology and Advanced Ionics, and as a board observer for Energy Transformed, Syzygy Plasmonics, Mantel, and Satelytics.
