Buck Crum

Buck Crum is the Director of Operations at Winn Resources. Joining the Company in Spring 2023, he leads the stewardship of all Winn properties across the Permian Basin, focusing on capital and operational efficiency.

Prior to his time with Winn, Buck led on-site drilling operations for ExxonMobil both domestically and internationally, including projects in the US Gulf, Ireland, Russia, Angola, and the Black Sea. Buck also worked as a Well Control Engineer for Wild Well Control, helping companies with model deepwater blowouts and response, and responding to emergency calls. He also served as a Drilling and Well Control Operations consultant in the Midland Basin.

Buck is a founder, partner, and coach at White Horse CrossFit, a local gym in The Woodlands area and holds a Certified CrossFit Trainer credential, as well as a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coaching certificate. He has also served in the children's ministry at Church at Woodforest since moving to the area in 2018. Buck holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (2007) and a Master of Business Administration (2016) from Louisiana State University.
