At Arculus, we want to reach net zero by 2050. To accomplish this, Arculus’ SputterPig applies an Al/Al2O3 coating developed at MIT on the internal surface of oil and gas pipelines. This coating: (1) reduces internal friction, lowering OpEx, (2) extends pipeline lifetime, (3) Repurposes pipes for CO2 transportation, (4) enables hydrogen blending with natural gas.
